Negative impact of technology in our lives.

Though there are many ways in which technology affect our society, be it positive or negatively. But I’ll concentrate on the negative impact in this article.

Some times ago, technology wasn’t so developed and it doesn’t really have much negative impact on us, but now the more it developed, the more it is affecting us negatively.

So here are the areas think technology is affecting us negatively today.

1. The Children

• Game:

Game is the most popular part of technology affecting us today. Be it video games, and other types of games. They are affecting our society today. Though they say “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” but nowadays it’s getting worse because we play more than we work. I didn’t say playing games is bad, but too much of it is affecting us.

• Eyes:

Many of us spend hours in front of our computer screen every day, and that can damage our vision. Generally, viewing objects that are far from us being easier on our eyes; because, the muscles in our eyes must work harder to view things at close range. Staring at a computer screen for long periods of time, therefore, usually cause you to strain the muscles in your eyes and thus result in headaches, blurred vision and eye fatigue. This leads people to using glasses.

• Porn:

Teenagers as young as 13 are now believed to regularly watch pornography. But a slew of studies show the regular consumption desensitized and actually re-wire the brain. The more you watch it the more you think of having sex.

This makes them to be open to things that are more than there age. And affect their lives in the future.

2. Environment

• Fraud :

Nowadays, the more the technology and internet grow, the more the internet fraudulent grows too. They use internet services or software with internet access to take advantage of the victims; for example, many people will say make money online without stress at home, and they use that advantage to steal their personal information, which mostly leads to identity theft.

• Hacking :

Before now, hacking is used to solve technical work that requires deep understanding in a computer system playfully, but now it is used to unauthorizely bypass the security mechanisms of an information system or network. Also known as cracking.

3. Health

This technology affect our health in many ways, for example it changes our mode of thought, though it is helpful in the ways too but it is also affecting us.

4. Education

• Distraction from Studies :

When students are in class or lecture room receiving lecture, 80% will not listen to what they are being thought but they’ll be busy with there phones either playing games, chatting or listening to music. And this affect our education badly.

• Increase in Drop out student :

The rate at which people are dropping out of school is increasing drastically. Because of things they are exposed to. For example; a guy who just hit $100,000 usd online will not even have time read again but he will think of getting more money even if but internet fraud.

There are many ways in which technology is affecting our society negatively but I only pick out some.
